Staying
fit and healthy gets a lot easier for Brunswick Forest property
owners with the opening in May of the 18,000-square-foot Fitness
& Wellness Center.
The handsome facility rivals the most luxurious spa in terms
of facilities and services: indoor pool; outdoor pool with wade-in
entry, expansive sun deck and snack bar; six hard surface tennis
courts and pro shop; aerobics studio, cardiovascular equipment
room; expansive men's and women's locker rooms with showers
and saunas; meeting rooms; lounge and juice bar.
Wellness programs will be offered through New Hanover Regional
Medical Center which has made a major commitment for a medical
facility in The Villages of Brunswick Forest retail and professional
center at the community's entrance. In addition to evaluations
and screenings, New Hanover plans to offer lectures, demonstrations
and seminars on various aspects of wellness and health.
KemperSports, manager of the Fitness & Wellness Center has
appointed Chad Anderson as director of operations. Chad will
be directing a full schedule for property owners that will include
classes, private instruction, personal training and personal
services, events and special activities.
Like all amenities at Brunswick Forest, the Fitness & Wellness
Center is linked to the neighborhoods via a network of paths
and trails, so residents can start their fitness programs right
as they leave their homes.
