Celebrate Halloween this year with tons of fun and spooky activities suitable for all ages!

GHOST WALK OF OLD WILMINGTON
The Ghost Walk of Old Wilmington is a downtown tour that takes place year-round, but ramps up during the Halloween season. Take a walking tour of this historic city and learn about colorful characters who roamed the city’s old cobblestone treats then, and who are rumored to still wander them in spirit form today.

TRICK-OR-TREAT AT THE VILLAGES AT BRUNSWICK FOREST
Grab the kids and the grandkids and head to The Villages at Brunswick Forest for a very special trick-or-treat event! Trick-or-Treat at The Villages will take place Thursday, October 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Lowes Foods parking lot. A DJ will be on-hand and there will be candy, prizes and a special costume contest!

HAUNTED PUB CRAWL
The Haunted Pub Crawl is another downtown Wilmington tour that takes place all year, but is particularly popular during the month of October. The pub crawl serves as a great way to experience all of downtown Wilmington’s many bars and restaurants and offers a fantastic lesson in the city’s rich history. Enjoy a wonderful night of entertainment thanks to the pub crawl’s delightfully compelling tour guides.

MUSEUM OF NIGHTMARES
New this year to downtown Wilmington is the Museum of Nightmares exhibit at the Museum of the Bizarre with special effects created by local movie set artist, Tony Rosen. Rosen worked on the films The Conjuring and Annabelle and puts his expert horror movie experience to good use in this spine-chilling haunted tour. Open nightly at the Museum of the Bizarre, 201 S. Water Street.

ROCKY HORROR SHOW
The Rocky Horror Show is back at City Stage in downtown Wilmington! Enjoy this cult Halloween classic production October 30th to November 1st. City Stage is one of Wilmington’s many theaters which offer live performances all year long, and is not to be missed during your Halloween celebrations this year.

BATTY BATTLESHIP HALLOWEEN BASH
This very special Halloween event is perfect for the children in your life. Head to the USS North Carolina for their Batty Battleship Bash Tuesday, October 27th from 5:30 to 8pm. Kids can enjoy games, activities, tattoos and storytelling all while wearing their favorite Halloween costume.
