With a network of more than 100 miles of paved and unpaved walking and biking trails, Brunswick Forest is the perfect location for area runs, races, triathlons and other active-based events. Hosting several runs throughout the year, our community’s pathways are picturesque, flat and versatile for participants.

Our 4,500-acre reserve has hosted an increasing number of events over the past few years and those looking for more active-based things to do around town will be in no short supply of options as we look ahead.

HOUND HUSTLE 10K, 5K & 1-MILE TROT WITH SPOT

This year’s race beneficiary was Paws Place. This non-profit, no-kill shelter is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of dogs in Wilmington and surrounding areas in Southeastern NC.

Sponsoring the Hound Hustle, Brunswick Forest Veterinary Hospital is a state of the art AAHA accredited and certified Cat Friendly Practice that has been open and serving the greater Leland area since February of 2011.
